Join us as Charles Sturt University launches a new regional hub for the Collaborative, bringing an Asia Pacific and Australian lens to global learning. This exciting partnership will spark fresh collaboration, innovation, and community-based action to tackle shared global challenges.
The Hub’s primary audience is people in community-based organizations partnering with university faculty, staff, and students from the Asia Pacific region. All are welcome with an interest in positioning Collaborative activities in Asia Pacific contexts.
This foundational session introduces new and existing members to the Community-Based Global Learning Collaborative, outlining our mission to advance ethical, community-engaged learning across borders. We will explore our four core areas of activity: capacity building, ethical partnership development, research and knowledge sharing, and collective action. Participants will gain an understanding of our action team model, which enables member-led collaboration and shared learning. This session also offers insights into how members can deepen their involvement and shape the Collaborative’s future direction.
