Although meaningful assessment of CBGL program outcomes is increasingly being prioritized, such assessment is often student-centered, with less attention being paid to the needs, goals, desires and perspectives of community partners. Fair Trade Learning (Hartman, et al., 2014) emphasizes the concept of “dual purposes”—the assertion that positive outcomes for CBGL programs and partner communities must always be reciprocal and equally valued. This webinar will focus on practical and equitable strategies to engage community partners in the assessment of both positive and challenging partnership outcomes.
