Join us for this special session of our GES CoP:
Working with the Global Engagement Survey
Use of the Global Engagement Survey to assess the impact of community engagement on global citizenship, cultural humility and critical reflection in DPT Students
Presented by:
Julie Booth, Director, Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education and Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Therapy, Quinnipiac University
Michelle Broggi, Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Therapy, Quinnipiac University
Booth and Broggi will share their research that examines whether participation in a pro bono physical therapy clinic -- specifically the amount of direct client contact -- relates to students’ development of cultural humility and social responsibility as measured by the Global Engagement Survey.
Their presentation is based on one they made at The Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP) April 2026 Conference.
