GES Community of Practice

According to Etienne and Beverly Wenger-Trayner, “Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.” The GES Community of Practice is a multi-institutional group of professionals who share a concern and passion for understanding and improving student global and civic learning through assessment and research. The group meets monthly to reflect together on the data collected in the GES.
