User agreement: Global Engagement Survey

The following is the text agreement provided for all members utilizing the Global Engagement Survey of the Community-Based Global Learning Collaborative

By utilizing the Global Engagement Survey as an assessment tool for my institution, I acknowledge that my institution's de-identified data will become part of a multi-institutional longitudinal data set. With the goal of contributing to the Collaborative’s mission of “advancing ethical, critical, and aspirationally de-colonial community-based learning and research for more just, inclusive, and sustainable communities,” the Collaborative research team may conduct multi-institutional analysis using this data set and publish in academic journals, present at conferences, etc. The research team consists of the Collaborative's Director of Assessment, co-directors, and one or more Research Assistants. Additionally, Global Engagement Survey Community of Practice members or other researchers may propose to engage in multi-institutional research projects with the research team.

The Global Engagement Survey was reviewed and deemed exempt by Haverford College’s Institutional Review Board on December 14, 2019. If I plan to conduct data analysis for academic publication, I acknowledge that I must submit an Institutional Review Board application to my institution.
